Korea Travels - Day 7, Seorak Park Trail 1 At the Cave
Finally, we made it to the lookout point.
See the building in this picture. That is the rest area with all the flat rocks. Boy, we climbed a long way.
We can see the cave from here, though. What a relief!
We made it. We are in the cave.
That was the hardest .3km we did all day, but the view was worth it.
I thought going down was supposed to be easier. Take a look at these views. They show how steep the stairs really were.
On the way back down, we passed a guy with no shoes sitting on a pile of rocks like they were a lazy-boy. He is hardcore. Surprisingly, there was a school group on the trail, too. We wouldn't get to do this back home. Everyone would be too worried about a lawsuit. Additionally, there were men in buisness suits. Eric and I are drenched in sweat and yet these guys look like they just stepped into the office.
I am so happy we went to the cave. It was very inspirational.
